ABB Bank has presented to the public another useful analytical report dedicated to the tourism sector of our country. The report, entitled “Tourism in Figures: Statistical Picture of the Tourism Sector in Azerbaijan”, covers data for 2022-2023.
The report analyzes various categories of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad and foreign tourists visiting our country, as well as their main expenses. The report also identifies key trends in the countries that our citizens visit most often, as well as in the countries from which the largest number of tourists come to Azerbaijan.
In addition, the report includes interesting data on domestic tourism, the most visited regions among foreign tourists and the performance of hotels and similar facilities in Azerbaijan. The study helps to track key changes in the tourism sector, their causes and predict possible trends in the future. The report was prepared by the Risk Department of ABB Bank.
Preparation of such detailed studies useful for stakeholders is widely practiced by many foreign banks. In Azerbaijan, it was ABB Bank that first applied this practice. In April this year, the Bank presented two reports: “Analysis of the Real Estate Market in Baku” and “Analysis of the Retail Trade Sector in Azerbaijan: Trends and Results”.
