More than 50 years after their creation, the Belles-Sœurs continue to attract crowds. The entire artistic elite of Quebec gathered Monday evening at Place des Arts to attend the world premiere of the film Our Sisters-in-Lawfilm adaptation of the famous play by Michel Tremblay.

Director René Richard Cyr walked the red carpet in the company of many actresses from his film, including Geneviève Schmidt, Guylaine Tremblay, Debbie Lynch-White, Véronic DiCaire, Pierrette Robitaille, Jeanne Bellefeuille and Ariane Moffatt, who are doing their first movie.
