What does the Federal Labor Law say about mealtimes and working hours?
The Federal Labor Lawin its Chapter II: Working Day, explains what the working hours.
“Working day is the time during which the worker is at the employer’s disposal to perform his work,” states Article 58 of the law.

However, when the worker cannot go out to eat during this time or enjoy his “rest”, the corresponding time will be computed as effective working day time (Article 64).

Daytime, nighttime or mixed shift? This is what each one implies according to the law
