As part of the production with state support of projects that won the film project competition organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Cinema Agency (ARKA) in July-October 2023, a short animated film “Nargiz” is being filmed, the press service of the department told Day.Az.
“Nargiz” is one of the 11 winning projects of this competition. The project is being implemented by Peri Film MMC (Animafilm Studio). Director and production designer – Masud Panahi, producer – Rashid Agamaliev, scriptwriters – Masud Panahi, Ismail Iman, Nazrin Agamalieva, editors – Rafig Mammadli and Gulshan Huseynova, lead animator – Firangiz Baghirova, storyboard artist – Kubra Binnatova, animation artist – Rustam Bashirov, artists – Elchin Hami Akhundov, Emil Shiran, Kubra Binnatova, Nazrin Hajiyeva, animators – Mehriban Aliyeva, Rustam Bashirov, Emil Shiran, production coordinator – Zarifa Akberova, lawyer – Emil Gezalov.
The main goal of the film is to attract the attention of the general public to minefields in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, to bring to the attention of children, as well as adults, the danger of mines. The film is planned to be presented by the end of 2024.
