In 2023, one of Norway’s most widely read and successful crime writers, Jo Nesbø, could look back on another good financial year. It earned NOK 36.8 million before tax, making 2023 the second best year since its founding in 1995.

This is reflected in the recent annual accounts of Nesbø’s wholly owned company, Skriverkstedet AS.
