Paris 2024 Olympic Games (football tournament): Adil Tahif replaces Aymane El Ouafi
Rabat – The coach of the Moroccan Olympic football team, Tarik Sektioui, has called on Adil Tahif, who plays for Renaissance de Berkane, to join the final list of players who will take part in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (OG).
Tahif will replace Aymane El Ouafi, whose Swiss club FC Lugano refused to allow him to join the Morocco team for the Olympic tournament.
On the 4th of this month, Tarik Sektioui revealed a list of 22 players to participate in the Paris Olympics.
This list is marked by the presence of three players aged over 23, namely Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint Germain), Soufiane Rahimi (Al-Aïn) and Mounir El Kajoui (RS Berkane).
The men’s Olympic football tournament, which will see the participation of 16 teams, will take place from July 24 to August 9 in Paris. The national team will play in Group B with Argentina, Ukraine and Iraq.
