Gustavo A. Quintero Hernández is a Colombian writer, academic and doctor, with a master’s degree in creative writing in Spanish from the University of Salamanca who currently serves as rector in charge of the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, where he is a professor of medicine. . It is a literary work of auto-fiction. He has compiled a dozen books, almost all of them scientific, with the exception of the last two: one historical and another, a collection of poems called Ambiguous Verses. This is his first foray into the novel. He has received many national and international awards and recognition for what he has done in the fields of knowledge within his competence.
