jpnn.comSEMARANG – The Central Java Provincial Government together with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to synergize to intensify the prevention and eradication of corruption. One of them is through the technical guidance program for families with integrity.

“The family has an important role in preventing corruption, especially regarding transparency in terms of the origin of the husband or wife’s economic income,” said the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Central Java Province, Sumarno, on the sidelines of the opening of the Family Integrity Technical Guidance at the Central Java Regional Secretariat Office, Monday, July 8, 2024.

According to him, integrity starts from the family. Family control is very important to ensure that the income obtained comes from a reasonable way.

“As long as it is a right and in accordance with the provisions, then we must be grateful, but if it turns out that the money is not from what it should be, then a wife or family must remind her husband not to do it,” he said.

Sumarno said that the wives and husbands of officials have the right to remind their partners if they bring in more money than they should receive.

According to him, the principles in the family are the driving force for each individual to have integrity.

Meanwhile, Director of Community Participation Development of KPK Kumbul Kusdwidjanto said, this technical guidance involves motivators and psychologists. The goal is to build harmonious families so that they can remind each other not to commit corruption.

“The material provided relates to various forms of corruption involving families, prevention efforts from families, and so on,” he said.

The Central Java Provincial Government and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are working together to intensify the prevention and eradication of corruption. One of them is through the Family Integrity Guidance program.
