This decision has been taken by the company to stop spam calls. Such calls are also called Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC). This is the reason why TRAI has given instructions to make complaint registration easy.

TRAI says that along with options like call logs, users should also be given options that allow them to lodge complaints. This brings transparency in the system.
