During this event, initiated as part of the 5th edition of the #B7ar Bla Plastic” operation (A sea without plastic) which continues until September 15, the children of the colony benefited from awareness-raising activities on the protection of the marine environment and biodiversity, marine waste, as well as theoretical and practical diving and swimming lessons.

This operation, launched by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment under the chairmanship of HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, is part of the 25th season of the “Clean Beaches” program, which this year concerns 109 beaches, including 27 beaches labeled “blue flag”, in addition to four marinas and, for the first time, a natural lake.

This initiative, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication, the association “diving and environmental conservation” of Nador, aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of keeping beaches and seas clean and fighting against plastic pollution.
