Israeli troops continue to fight in the Gaza Strip; over the past 24 hours, dozens of Palestinian radicals have been killed in various areas.

As reported by Day.Az with reference to TASS, the army press service reported this.

According to her information, a special operation is continuing in Gaza City, which began on the night of July 8 based on intelligence data indicating the presence of armed units of supporters of the radical movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad. “By now, troops have destroyed dozens of terrorists and found a large number of weapons in the area,” the army report says.

Clashes continue on the ground and underground in Ash-Shujaiya, a district in the east of Gaza City. A significant number of radicals have been killed there, many weapons have been found, including sniper equipment, anti-tank grenade launchers, Kalashnikov assault rifles, and infrastructure facilities used by radicals have been destroyed.

In the city of Rafah in the south of the enclave, dozens of radicals were eliminated in close combat with the support of the Israeli Air Force in one day, the army added.

Airstrikes were carried out throughout the entire sector over the course of the day. The targets hit included military installations, underground tunnel shafts and other infrastructure facilities used by Palestinian radicals, the press service reported.
