WHILE, Waspada.co.id – The Fugitive Capture Team (Tabur) of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Sumut) and the Medan District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari) succeeded in arresting a convict in a case of embezzlement of Rp. 5.73 billion.

The convict arrested was named Sri Falmen Siregar (38) who was on the wanted list (DPO) because he ignored the summons from the Medan District Attorney’s Office to be executed in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1016 K/PID/2023, dated 28 August 2023.

“The Tabur Team from the North Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office together with the Medan District Attorney’s Office arrested convict Sri Falmen Siregar on Tuesday (9/7/2024) evening, in the parking lot of the Capital Building Basement, Jalan Putri Hijau, Medan City,” said the Intelligence Coordinator of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, Yos Tarigan, Wednesday (10/7).

The North Sumatra Regional Police examined 28 witnesses and asked for information to investigate the motive behind the burning of a journalist’s house in Kabanjahe, Tanah Karo Regency.
