Today, Tuesday, the competitions of the first Arab Championship for Cubs (Zone of the Levant and the Gulf) for handball, held in the province of Najaf Al-Ashraf, conclude with the participation of the national teams of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Syria.
The correspondent of the (INA) reported that “the Lions of Mesopotamia will play their match today against their Syrian counterpart to determine the third and fourth places at four o’clock in the afternoon in the Peace Hall.”
He added, “The final match of the tournament will be held at six o’clock in the evening after the end of the match to determine third and fourth place between the Saudi national team and its Bahraini counterpart.”
It is noteworthy that the Lions of Mesopotamia started their journey in the championship by defeating their Jordanian counterpart with a score of (40-28), while they lost their second match against the Bahraini team with a score of (35-18), and lost their third match against the Saudi team with a score of (44-26) goals, and tied in their last match against the Syrian team with a score of (27-27) goals.
