As part of the “Children’s Cinema” section, these artistic demonstrations, organized at the OCP Media Library, targeted around 1,000 students from public and private schools.

The students concerned were treated to an hour of shows and activities in Arabic, French and Darija, as well as other activities led by the associative actor, Hicham Sekkouma, which deal, in a satirical manner, with subjects of great importance for childhood.

Mr. Sekkouma revealed that children appreciated this type of artistic demonstrations and parallel recreational activities, which encourage them to learn and study, noting, in a statement to MAP, that the “Children’s Cinema” section of FICAK is intended to be an appropriate opportunity to recall the importance of the image and its multiple uses, particularly for young people.

In order for the festival to remain an incubator space for meetings and intellectual, cultural and artistic creations that meet all tastes and target all categories, the Foundation of the International African Film Festival of Khouribga (FFICAK) has set up a diversified program including several activities, capable of meeting aspirations, and consolidating the spirit of development and continuity of this international event.

This major African film festival celebrates the seventh art and African film production. It also promotes the image of the Kingdom and highlights its characteristics and capabilities in the cinematographic field, as well as its interaction with the cinema of African countries.

Focused on “a cinema conscious of its time”, this artistic event aims to consolidate the cultural dimensions in the South-South cooperation policy adopted by Morocco, in line with the High Royal Directives, as well as to reward film lovers for their passion for the “seventh art” by screening films that meet their tastes.
