BOLZANO. Confirmation has arrived from the Office for the Management of the Western Mountain Basins, the improvement works regarding safety – precisely against floods – of the Lasa Riverhave been completed. The intervention was carried out in the central section of the watercourse, in which “the construction of consolidation structures to strengthen protection against floods has been completed”, explains Fabio De Polodirector of the Mountain Basin Functional Area of the Civil Protection Agency.
Were built 23 consolidation bridles and 2 thresholds. In addition, they have been erected bank protection walls to stabilize the course of the stream in the area of the forest road and secure the access road and primary infrastructure lines such as drinking water and electricity. The wooden superstructure of the Tarneller Bridge was replaced in collaboration with the Municipality of Lasa.
The financing of 2 million euros for six construction lots, environmental compensation measures for the Lasa hydroelectric power plant were obtained through various financing channels and funds from the PNRR and the Department of Home Italy.
