Bhopal: Thousands of employees in Madhya Pradesh who have been waiting for transfer for more than a year are going to get good news soon. The ban on transfer of government officers and employees is going to be lifted soon. The government will allow all departments to make transfers on administrative and voluntary basis for 15 days.
The government has also prepared a draft of the transfer policy for the employees waiting for transfer in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will finalize the policy after consulting the ministers. Let us tell you that the process of transfer of employees starts from July 1 itself. Now the policy for this has also started being made.

Only 20 percent employees will be transferred

Under this transfer policy, not more than 20 percent transfers will be possible in any cadre. Let us tell you that the transfer policy was announced in the state in the year 2021. At that time, the ban on transfer was lifted for one month in July. After this the policy was not announced, but transfers continued through Chief Minister Coordination.
Because of this the transfer was stopped
At the same time, due to the preparation of the voter list for the assembly elections in the year 2023, the transfer of the Collector, Additional Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Teacher and Patwari directly associated with the election work was banned. But now transfers will start. During this time, the authority to transfer from district to district will be given to the ministers in charge.

This is how transfers will be done: All class I officers will be transferred with the approval of the Chief Minister. Class II and class III officers will be transferred through the departmental minister and employees within the district will be transferred through the collector. However, it will be mandatory to take permission from the minister in charge for this. Transfers will be done after his permission. The responsibility of ensuring compliance with the transfer policy has been given to the departmental officers.
