Directors Guild Bangladesh is an organization of professional theater directors working in television media of Bangladesh. Wednesday (July 10) marked its 23rd anniversary. The concerned people celebrated the special day through various arrangements. Apart from members of the executive committee of the organization, producers, media personalities and crew were also present.
The fun event scheduled at Directors Guild Bangladesh Niketan office from 4 pm to 8 pm included chat, music, tea-breakfast session and selfie time. The anniversary cake was cut at 7.30 pm.
After cutting the cake, Director’s Guild Bangladesh was felicitated by Arif Rehman, Program Head of Machranga Television, Syed Haque, Chairman of Dhaka Television II, Shaheen Sumon, General Secretary of Film Directors Association, Kabirul Islam Rana, Joint General Secretary, Azam Khan Helal, Playwrights Association, Joint General Secretary. And organizing secretary Rajiv Mani Das, President of Video Editor Association of Bangladesh. Shaukat Ali Rana and General Secretary Ali Hasan Rupon.
Apart from this, General Secretary of Television Cameraman Association Niaz Mahbub and Organizing Secretary Sahil Roni, President of Confederation and President of Bangladesh Television Media Production Managers Association Abu Jafar Apu and Organizing Secretary Din Islam Dinar, President of Light Owners Association Mohammad Salam, producer and actor Nazrul Raj and various other persons were also present. The organization congratulates.
Director’s Guild Bangladesh general secretary SM Kamruzzaman Sagar presided over the short discussion session after the cake cutting and the organization’s president Anant Hira presided.
The event, which started from afternoon till night, turned into a get-together with the participation of theater directors, invited playwrights, journalists, actors, prominent personalities of television channels and digital media of Bangladesh, officials of sponsoring organizations, officials of TV channels and popular celebrities. The venue was full of dancing, singing and chatting.
People invited to eat at the coffee corner were busy chatting. Many visitors went to the selfie corner and were busy taking selfies alone or with others. Various organizations and personalities praised the current leadership of Directors Guild Bangladesh and requested to make the organization more dynamic.
