The Israeli military continues counter-terrorism operations in the area of the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Gaza City. As the army press service stated, a large number of weapons and ammunition were found near this building, which, according to the military, were used by Palestinian radicals, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“The IDF continues its operational activities against terrorists based at the UNRWA headquarters in central Gaza. Over the past day, the forces found a large quantity of weapons in the area of the headquarters, including explosive-laden drones, grenades, explosive devices, sniper equipment, mortar shells, rockets and anti-tank rocket launchers,” the statement said.
At the same time, over the past 24 hours, an airstrike was carried out in this area on a military complex used by Palestinian radicals “as a base for firing at IDF troops,” the press service said.
