Everything you need to know about the race and its side effects including the thirteenth stage of the Tour de France between Agen and Pau.
Level Profile: Agen-Pau (165.3 km)
Today’s stage marks the arrival of the peloton in the Pyrenees. On the eve of a top level that promises to be dangerous, the sprinters will have one of the last opportunities to show their speed. The mythical stage city of the Tour, Pau will host a final that suits the sprinters although the final is not very easy to negotiate for the teams with many bumps that can smile on the walkers.
Timetables for the thirteenth grade
The fantasy start of the race will be given at 1:30 pm and the finish is scheduled for around 5:20 pm.
How to follow the Tour de France on TV?
The broadcast will start on France 3 before the transition planned for around 3 p.m. Return to France 2 for the final stage and race after 7 p.m. You can also follow every race on Eurosport or with live commentary on Le Figaro.fr.
Not to be lost on the course
The Paul Armagnac motor circuit in Nogaro is the place of completion of the fourth stage that interested Jasper Philipsen during the previous edition, in 2023. Built in 1960, the Gersois motor circuit is the first permanent motor circuit in France. It has hosted many events such as the French motorcycle GP, the Truck GP and the Critérium cycliste des Provinces.
Philipsen won ahead of Ewans at Nogaro.

A prophet
For his first Tour de France, the Belgian champion Arnaud De Lie has not yet found an opening to raise his hand (2 podiums). But an uneven finish may suit his abilities and that of Biniam Girmay who will have a chance to secure his green jersey in a false flat down.

Expression of the day: “jackal wound”
It is a strategy, more or less effective, which consists of attacking in the last 2 kilometers of the race only to win. A good technique for heavy riders who are not fast enough to compete with sprinters. An expression made famous by the Swiss Fabian Cancelara, a fan of this technique as well as his solo victory in Milan San-Remo in 2008.
