A protest mourning procession begins in the streets of Veliko Tarnovo. The column of taxi cars will also pass along the Sofia-Varna road. The reason – paying tribute to the two men who died at the beginning of the week in an accident with a 17-year-old without a license. One of the dead was a taxi driver, and his colleagues are demanding control over the country’s roads, reports Nova.
Aneta Lazarova lived as a family with the deceased Ognyan Georgiev for nearly six years. She also attended the procession in his memory. The woman thanked the victim’s employer for helping with his funeral.
“Almost all of us have lost faith in the justice system. I urge young people to be more responsible, but it all depends on upbringing and family environment,” she said.
Anetta addressed the family of the 17-year-old boy who caused the tragic accident, saying: “I’m sorry you have such a son.”
Stefan Ivanov is the owner of the taxi company where the deceased man worked. “We are pushing for greater responsibility in driving and for greater criminal responsibility,” he said.
Acquaintances of the family of the disqualified driver heard that the son systematically beat and threatened his parents.
