Koel Mallick and Jeet starrer movie ‘100% Love’. It was released in 2012. The story of the movie revolves around Anuradhar’s (Koel) lover Rahul (Jeet). But Anuradha’s younger sister Sonia (Ritvika Sen) falls in love with Rahul! Rithika caught the attention of the audience by acting in this role. He entered the silver screen through this movie at the age of 10.

Since then, Rithika was busy with big screen work. He appeared on the screen paired with all the leading heroes of Tollywood. But now Rithikar is not seen in Indian Bengali movies like that! So where did the 26-year-old heroine lose?

Ritvika Sen gave an interview to an Indian media. At the beginning of this conversation, it was asked, did you get lost from Tolipara? Why are you seeing so little? In response to this question, Ritika Sen said, ‘Why this question to me? Many others are not seen that way.’

After throwing several counter questions, Rithika Sen said, “This question should probably be asked by the makers of the film industry, right? Better work needs to be done in Bengal. Where is that kind of movie? I will definitely do it if I get any such job offer. I can’t see a good story that way. After many days I saw a good movie, ‘Unworthy’. Once upon a time people knew Bengali only for movies. In that place, the chances of good work for Bengali actors have decreased!”

Rithika is not seen like that even in Tolipara party. Explaining the reason, he said in this context, “I don’t like to party. I like spending time with myself the most. But yes, love to talk to people. Sometimes I am forced to some parties. But now I am also learning to say ‘no’ to people.”

If you don’t know how to say ‘no’, you have to face various proposals in the industry? Hearing this question, Rithika Sen said, “I have been working since I was very young. So many people know me. Newbies may be offered a ‘casting couch’. But everyone knows what answer I can give to such an offer. That’s why no one gives me such an offer.”

Ritwika is staying away from Bengali cinema by design – that is not the case. He is very busy with the work of Southern cinema. But he is more interested in working in Bengali cinema.

In this regard, Rithika Sen said, ‘Everything about the two industries is almost the same. Maybe the language is different. But yes, the remuneration is very high there. There is nothing to hide. Bengali artists are really very talented. However, I cannot say anything about professionalism. After I got an offer to work in the south, I agreed because I liked the story and characters. Although I represent Bengal there. Everyone knows me there as a Bengali actress.’

In 2014, Rithikar made her debut as a heroine with the movie ‘Barbaad’. He acted in the first movie. Then he gave movies like ‘Arshinagar’, ‘Raja Rani Raazi’, ‘Jio Pagla’, ‘Villain’, ‘Bagh Bandi Khel’, ‘Shah Jahan Regency’. In 2020, Rithikar made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie ‘Dagaalti’.
