The Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Cinema Agency (ARKA) announced the results of the competition to support films in the post-production stage, the press service of the department told Day.Az.
Post-production is the final stage in the creation of any video material: documentary, cartoon, music video, video report, corporate or advertising video, etc. After filming is over, it is necessary to give the film a finished look: edit, adjust the color balance of the frame, voice the roles, add audio and visual effects, etc.
In May of this year, ARKA announced a competition to support work on completing film projects at the post-production stage, held with the aim of stimulating and increasing the efficiency of film production in the country, increasing the competitiveness of independent production centers, etc., working in the relevant field, supporting joint film production. A total of 9 projects were submitted to the competition in the category of full-length feature and documentary, short feature, documentary and animated films. It was decided to provide state support to 6 projects assessed by the artistic council. A total of 111 thousand 113 manats were allocated. These are:
“Yaddaş sarayları” – a short documentary film, directed by Matlab Mukhtarov, “Rental Azerbaijan” MMC,
“Geri dönüş” – a full-length documentary film, directed by Elmeddin Aliyev, “Karvan Production” MMC,
“Səssiz zaman” – full-length feature film, directed by Tair Tairovich, “Nova Gorica Kino Center” MMC,
“Qara pişt, ağ shanı” is a full-length documentary film, directed by Alamdar Faig, “Chinar Film” MMC,
