Goalkeeper Ramón Souza, from Grêmio Anápolis, was hit by a rubber bullet fired by a policeman during the match against Centro Oeste, in the second division of the Goiás championship.
The agent intervened in an argument between the players after the end of the game. He even pushed one of the Grêmio Anápolis athletes and when he “confronted” him, he took aim and shot the goalkeeper in the leg.
A military police officer from Goiás simply thought it was reasonable to SEND A PLAYER WITH A RUBBER BULLET

Grêmio Anápolis confirmed the attack, in a denial note published on social media.
“A terrible, unbelievable and criminal act by someone who should have been concerned about the safety and integrity of those present at the Jonas Duarte Stadium,” the club’s statement read.
According to the club, the goalkeeper was rescued while still on the pitch and left the pitch on a stretcher. He is not at risk of amputation or death.
The shooting was carried out by a police officer from the Specialist Police Company. The Goiás State Military Police reported that they have already opened a procedure to investigate the case. The company also said “misconduct will not be tolerated”.
The Ministry of Sports also commented on the situation, classifying the incident as “unacceptable” and saying that the behavior of the police officer “goes against the basic principles of security and physical integrity that must be guaranteed”.
