To know how to work in a team, to be goal-oriented, always smiling and to give 200% of yourself, because 100% is no longer enough. According to 29-year-old Snezhana Racheva, these are exactly the qualities needed to be a successful person today. He became convinced of this over the years and thanks to the path he walked – from a consultant with no experience in the telecom industry, to a manager and one of the best salespeople at Yettel.
Her story begins eight years ago, when she was still 21 years old, a student of Business Administration in Veliko Tarnovo. She is about to replace her hotel job with a new career. Her only condition is to be connected to communication with people – she has already understood for herself that this is precisely where her strength lies. So luck took her to the field of telecommunications and then Telenor, now Yettel.
Even in these early days, he does his best to prove that he can. She writes down in a notebook everything that seemed important and interesting to her. “In the evening I drew where what is selected in the systems and memorized it. To this day, I keep these notebooks and notes.” she shares.
Recognition for her efforts is not long in coming – she has been a commercial consultant for four years. This was followed by deputy manager, and in 2022 he took the next step up – he became the manager of one of Yettel’s stores in Veliko Tarnovo. As part of a special internal employee development program, it was also recently recognized as one of the best salespeople who contribute to an excellent customer experience in telecom.
According to her, in order for the client to be satisfied, three things are needed – to keep your word, to always be accurate and correct in the information you give, and last but not least – to make them smile. It was in this way that he built an 8-year friendship with one of his first clients. “This is a very nice lady, about 60 years old, who often travels and whenever she returns from somewhere, she also brings a gift for me. Thanks to her, I already have about 20 souvenirs from different countries,” says Snezhana.
In order for the customers to be happy, however, there is one more condition – the employees must also be happy. “Our team consists of six girls in total – we are extremely different both in age and in personalities, but nevertheless we fit in very well and can count on each other.”
They get together outside of work, organize small events and of course – the obligatory goody cupboard, which they make sure is never empty. He admits that this is also the most important lesson he has learned in all these years – to work in a team. “I used to be on my own, but that’s not the case anymore, and I’m very happy because it’s the people I work with who are my biggest stimulus and motivation.” Every day he learns how to find the right way to them. Younger girls are more direct and direct, older girls are more careful and delicate. Each one must be approached individually, because there is no universal approach.
“Working with people is the most valuable teacher – every situation teaches you something new, builds you as a person and a character.” Snezhana is convinced. That is why he has been doing this for eight years with the desire and willingness to give 200% of himself.
