The impeachment of Wilman Terán will not be archived. At least that is the position of the majority of legislative benches. At 09:00 today, Monday, July 8, virtually, the Plenary of the Assembly will decide whether the impeachment trial continues or is archived, as recommended by the Oversight Commission with the vote of Correa.
At that session, positions were put forward. ADN, the government bloc, did not support the decision, as did the Christian Social representative and Adriana García, an independent legislator at the table.
The ruling party confirms this.

The PSC, which has supported Correa in other votes, has announced that it will not vote this time. “We believe that there are sufficient elements for the three former members of the Judiciary to be tried and censured,” said Lenín Rogel.
