He London Palace will open its east wing to the public for the first time, allowing access to the room that overlooks the balcony from where the Royal family greets the crowd.
Starting July 15, new rooms in the east wing will be available, the Royal Collection Trustresponsible for opening the royal residences to the public.

However, visitors will not be allowed onto the balcony, which has been used by the royal family for public appearances since 1851. The idea of the balcony in Buckingham belonged to Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert.
