Ateenagers on the run in a dystopian future. These are the main elements of the plot Walk Chaosin acha this evening on Prime TV at 9.20pm Rai 2. Halfway between action and science fiction, is Doug Liman’s 2021 film based on the book Chaos – The Escape by Patrick Nessto sell the first chapter of a literary saga millions of copies worldwide.

Although Todd will have to manage his thoughts and make sure he doesn’t get caught, at the same time he will realize that he has an inner strength that he would never have imagined he had. He will soon realize that he can use these abilities to uncover the dark secrets of his land and people.

Disappointing action fantasy, despite the excellent book
Taken from the first chapter of the literary trilogy of the same name written by Patrick Ness, Walk Chaos it is basically teen dystopian-action reminiscent of different ones Hunger GamesMaze Runner e Different. Like these and other films, not only for the settings but above all for the plot, in which a boy and a girl are seen often bound by a conflicting relationship but nevertheless united against the social system.
Amazing and with many original ideasthe fantasy action has the advantage of bringing the main character’s thoughts back to the screen. In the long run, a somewhat tiresome choicedragged on for too long, despite the fact that Tom Holland did everything possible to make his character’s parable believable and strong.
The end result is not completely certain and above all it doesn’t take advantage of the possibilities of a great cast – there’s also a very bad Mads Mikkelsen – who do their best to make up the logical holes in a somewhat broken script. Despite an open ending, I suppose there will be no sequel, as originally expected, given the poor result at the box office. Shame, given the potential of the original literary material.
Daisy Ridley, yes Star wars to Federico Fellini
