/ The Iraqi North Gas Club team lost its opening match against the Saudi capital club with a score of (79-65) in the Arab Games for Women’s Basketball, which kicked off today, Saturday, in the Emirati city of Sharjah.
The second match will be played by Gas North against Al-Ahli of Bahrain tomorrow, Sunday, while the third match will be played against Al-Fuhais of Jordan the day after tomorrow, Monday. The fourth match will be played next Tuesday against Al-Thawra of Syria, while Gas North will move to play against the home team, Sharjah of the Emirates, on Friday, and then play against Al-Fatat of Kuwait on Saturday, February 10.
The North Gas Basketball Team, which participated in the Sharjah Women’s Championship, had attracted three professional players from America and Senegal to its ranks before the championship to support the team in the championship.
