Starting this Friday, the Historic Center of San Salvador has a new space to enjoy delicious food in a spectacular atmosphere. It is “Franco’s Restaurant,” a business that will reopen its doors, this time located next to the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES).
This was confirmed by the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, who indicated that he will support the reopening of Franco’s Restaurant, a establishment that had to be relocated due to the renovations that were carried out in the Historic Center of the capital city.
“Do you remember this restaurant, which we relocated to be able to build the Central American Garden of the National Palace? Well, today it opens again and they will sell 3 pupusas for $1. In addition, I gave them coffee from my personal farm so they can offer a free cup of coffee to everyone who comes. So, 3 pupusas and a coffee for $1. The inauguration is today, at 5 pm, in front of the right side of the BINAES,” Bukele posted from his account on the social network X.
The relocation of Franco’s Restaurant now allows it to enjoy a space to continue positioning itself as a food business and an ideal place to take a break on the journey through the heart of the capital.
Furthermore, the reopening takes place in a context in which, thanks to the security environment in El Salvador and the remodeling of the capital city, the Historic Center of San Salvador has become one of the strongest tourist spots in the country.
