Spanish youngster Carlos Alcaraz is said to be Rafael Nadal’s successor. However, the Spanish star is proving it on the tennis court as well. He reached the Wimbledon final for the second time in a row. Alcaraz stepped onto the podium after defeating Daniil Medvedev.

Alcaraz bounced back to win against Medvedev after an early loss. The victory came in 3-1 sets. The Spanish youngster lost the first set 7-6 (7/1). However, in the next three sets, he did not care about the Russian opponent. 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4 to secure his second consecutive Wimbledon final.

Alakraj reached the final after defeating Medvedev last time too. He repeated it again. The same fight may be staged in the final as well. For that, however, Novak Djokovic has to win against Lorenzo Mosetti in the second semi-final.

Reacting to reaching the Wimbledon final for the second time in a row, Alcaraz said, ‘It feels like I’m not new here anymore. I know how it feels before finals. I have been in this situation before. I will try to play better. I will try to make everything go smoothly.’
