US President Biden said Wednesday that he was unfairly targeting his gaffes and vowed to put “the spotlight” on Republican Donald Trump and his policy agenda.
On this day, President Biden, whose aim is to break away from his performance in the debates that caused great damage to his campaign, spoke at a rally in Detroit, Michigan, where the battle is expected to be fierce. “From now on, we are going to talk about Mr. Trump,” he told supporters.
Mr. Biden outlined his plans for the first 100 days of his second term and openly attacked Mr. Trump’s legal troubles. In response to supporters chanting, “Don’t quit,” he reiterated his intention to continue campaigning, saying, “I’m running and I’m winning. I have no intention of that to change.”
Biden also criticized Project 2025, a transition initiative put together by Trump supporters. The plan includes mass transfers, conservative policies and cuts to federal agencies, and the news media focused on concerns about his age, 81, and criticized Trump’s policy plans and failures.
Biden also criticized Trump, calling him a “loser” who tried to overturn his victory in the 2020 presidential election and saying he would like to act as a dictator if he returns. He promised, “I will never let that happen with my eyes black.”

However, with increasing calls from his Democratic allies to withdraw from the race, Mr Biden has been under pressure to allay voters’ concerns about his suitability.
“I promise you, I’ll be fine,” Biden told voters gathered at a Detroit restaurant before a campaign rally.
Some Democratic politicians who have called to withdraw from the race have been criticized, saying they are trampling on the will of voters to vote in the Democratic primary. “You made me the candidate, and no one else. Not the media, not the opinions, not the insiders, not the donors. It was your decision, the voters, and no one else.”
