Regarding the ongoing strike of the teachers, he said, all the universities will talk to the teachers’ association, the teachers’ association will talk to the federation, we will take a decision by holding a meeting.
A delegation of Awami League sat in a meeting with a delegation of teacher leaders around 11 o’clock on Saturday. Among the Awami League leaders, General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nashim, Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, State Minister for Education Samsunnahar Champa were present.
A delegation of 10 members including General Secretary of Dhaka University Teachers Association Professor Zeenat Huda, Joint General Secretary Professor Abdur Rahim under the leadership of Secretary General of University Teachers Federation Nizamul Haque Bhuiya participated in the discussion.
