Xiaomi has begun testing a new feature in the HyperOS firmware that will allow users to disable all system advertising using a special switch. Currently, disabling advertising on Xiaomi devices requires complex manipulations through the menu and settings of individual applications, which makes this process long and inconvenient.
According to the source, a switch has appeared in the test version of HyperOS that allows you to enable or disable ads in system applications with one click. Details and timing of the appearance of this function in stable firmware builds are not reported. For now, users of Xiaomi 13 Pro and some other smartphones of the company can disable ads in this way in test firmware.
HyperOS is Xiaomi’s firmware that replaced MIUI on smartphones, tablets and other gadgets of the company, including its sub-brands Redmi, Poco.
