On Friday, July 12, the workers of the Ministry of Emergency recovered the bodies of six drowned people from the water. Most of the dead were found in rivers, according to the report of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On the morning of July 12, a 64-year-old pensioner was found drowned in the Neman River near the agricultural town of Mogilno, Uzdensky district. And a 37-year-old man was removed from the Myshanka River near the village of Berezki, Lyakhovichi district.
In the afternoon, as reported, a 16-year-old teenager drowned in a fire reservoir near Gomel while swimming with his twin brother. Emergency Circumstances Ministry workers provided psychological assistance to the parents of the deceased.
In addition, on the same day, a 57-year-old woman drowned in the Rosi River near the city village of Krasnoselsky, Volkovysk region. In the agricultural town of Tarasenki near Vitebsk, a 53-year-old man drowned in the Usvyache River. A 54-year-old citizen died in Lake Burye in the village of Burye, Logoisky district.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, since May 1, more than 120 people have drowned in Belarus, including 15 children.
