New Delhi: A total of 242 students have been repatriated to India from Ukraine amid concerns over the Hasya-Ukraine conflict. A group of students from Ukraine returned to New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday morning aboard the Dreamline B – 787.
India has begun evacuating Indians from Ukraine in the wake of escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. The proposal was to return from Ukraine temporarily.
The Indian embassy has announced more flights from the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, amid heightened tensions. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, four flights will be operated to Delhi on February 25, 26, 27 and March 6. Earlier, it was announced that the special service would run until February 26.
