/ It seems that the risk of suspension is haunting Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid player, after a complaint was filed against him by Getafe Club, on Friday, for insulting his compatriot Mason Greenwood, during the match that brought the two teams together, in the Spanish League.
Real Madrid regained the top spot in the league after beating Getafe 2-0 in a postponed match from the 20th round.
The confrontation, which took place yesterday, Thursday, put the English players face to face, and television footage revealed that Bellingham uttered the word “rapist” towards the Getafe striker.
It is noteworthy that Greenwood left Manchester United on loan last summer, after he was arrested for attempted rape in January 2022, before the Public Prosecution Service later dropped the charges.
Press reports stated that Getafe asked the match referee to include Bellingham’s shot in the match report, so that the Spanish Football Federation could take disciplinary action against the Real Madrid star.
