It will be the perfect place to dust off your memories and go Back to the Future… or to the past with the iconic saga at the event that will feature more than 100 exhibitor stands.
The Churubusco Convention Center is located on Tlalpan Boulevard at number 1721, one block from the General Anaya Metro, within ToyFest.
Visitor hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and visitors are invited to come with a hoverboard (electric skateboard), dressed up and/or dressed as some of the famous characters such as Marty McFly, Doc Brown, Lorraine, Biff, George, Claraetc.
“We hope to break the record of Back to the Future fans gathered in one place, like nothing seen anywhere in the world,” he says. Jorge Olvera, creator of I’m Retro and organizer of this initiative.
Soy Retro Mex invited attendees to bring some item alluding to the film such as a t-shirt, tennis shoes, accessories and enjoy the various activities for attendees.
In addition, ToyFest, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, expects to have more than 7,000 attendees. There is no entrance fee and no parking fee! The contribution is to bring some type of pet food, where it is expected to exceed one ton.

11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Registration of participation: Get a wristband upon entering the event if you are dressed in costume or have any item alluding to the films. This will help us keep track of the participants for the record.
15:30 hrs – Flag raising and group photo: We will gather all the participants on stage while the band Los Cocodrilos plays to the rhythm of “Johnny B. Goode”. Once we have gathered the largest number of participants, we will take the group photo to document this world record.
4:00 p.m. – “Back to the Future” Gift Raffle: Registered attendees will have the chance to win amazing prizes, including props, apparel, collectibles and toys related to the trilogy.
