Mariétou Diallo, who came to seek treatment from a marabout, suffering from a diabolical disease, has been missing for 72 hours, according to the family’s spokesperson, Ms. Fatoumata Bah.
In an interview she gave to our regional correspondent this Saturday, Fatouma Bah recounts her granddaughter’s misadventure:
“Mariétou, aged 15, is the daughter of my younger sister. She had come from Conakry to be treated by a marabout in Boké. Honestly, the marabout helped us a lot. When Mariétou came here, she had to build relationships with the young man in question. Unfortunately, when the young man travelled to Guinea-Bissau the day before yesterday, we did not see our daughter again.”
Continuing her explanations, Fatoumata Bah indicated: “it is after this alarming observation that we are all mobilized to come and bring our concern to the security who are fighting alongside us to help us find our daughter…”
On Friday evening, our interlocutor told us that “a gentleman called us near the Guinea-Bissau border to tell us that he had information on the geographical location of Mariétou Diallo. During our conversation, the gentleman told us that the kidnapper of our child was demanding payment of four million (4,000,000) Guinean francs to see the victim again…”.
It should be noted that the victim’s parents, in indescribable desolation, came from Siguiri, Labé, Télimélé, Fria, Conakry, according to the family’s spokesperson.
According to concordant sources, the kidnapper and the missing girl met for the first time in Dapoungou, one of the villages of Télimélé.
According to the latest news, the marabout in charge of treating the missing girl has been arrested for investigation purposes.
