The impact of the huracán Beryl by the United States caused the formation of a large tornado that hit the town of Eden, in Buffalowhich swept away numerous houses in its path.
According to United States National Weather Servicethe tornado had a speed of around 85 miles per hourwhich consequently took away poles, lighting cables, trees and houses in the town located north of NY during Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the force with which the phenomenon hit New York territory, fortunately there were no injuries or deaths.
For his part, Erie County Executive, Mark Poloncarzsaid that farms had the worst damage, where numerous injured animals have been reported.
“The town of Eden is under a state of emergency. There has been significant damage to several farms, especially barns that suffered total losses, and animals have been injured. Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries.”
However, the tornado left nearly 26,000 people without electricity, although everyone was able to regain power during the night.
