The League, interviewed by Adnkronos, responded to the words of the leader of the Rassemblement National: “There are no decisions against me, I will become one”
Vice-president of the Patriots group in the European Parliament assigned to Roberto Vannacci “is a problem”. He confirmed it Jean-Paul Garraud, head of the National Rally in Aula, on the sidelines of the group’s meeting this afternoon in Strasbourg. “We’ll talk about it now,” he said. The National Rassemblement is the main representative of the Patriots group, with 30 MEPs; the League, third after the Hungarian of Fidesz, has eight.
Vannacci went straight: “I will be vice president, without a doubt”
“There is no discrimination against me.” Interviewed by Adnkronos, the general and MEP of the League commented on Garraud’s words. Vannacci, elected as an independent in the League, assured: “I have no doubt that I will be vice president”, he cut short.
“I am calm”, he commented before participating in the meeting in Strasbourg where his vice-presidency was also discussed. Vannacci confirmed that he would discuss it: “Of course,” he said. “In a Parliament, what do we do? We talk,” he emphasized.
