In this regard, AzerGold CJSC makes every effort to successfully fulfill the tasks set for the development of the mining industry. By promoting the development of the industry, the state-owned company also continues to contribute to the country’s economy through the sale of precious metals in local and international markets.
Over the past 8 years, AzerGold CJSC has managed to take a leading position among state-owned exporters in the non-oil and gas sector. The joint-stock company produced 441,326 ounces of gold and 919,244 ounces of silver, and sold 437,730 ounces of gold and 889,709 ounces of silver on local and international markets.
As a result of these sales, 1,274,094,914 manats were attracted to the country’s economy.
