Very close to the S8 and S8 +, the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra stands out from its station. The RockDock Ultra relieves the user from the main maintenance tasks that a robot vacuum cleaner might require. The newest S8 also benefits from an interesting new vibrating mop system, especially when used without suction. We’re also a little disappointed by the DuoRoller brush, whose performance on long-pile carpets is mixed. However, the S8 Pro Ultra is one of the most efficient robots in our comparison, but it owes (if nothing more) to its excellent navigation system and its good autonomy, not forgetting its station.

The L20 Ultra is able to vacuum all surfaces effectively and, in a little time, it can also tackle stubborn stains. His camera also allows him to avoid obstacles to explore every nook and cranny of the house, even if the new Dreame robot sometimes does a little too much, to the point of avoiding distance to anything. So there is a bit of work left, but the developments are going in the right direction, just like the management of carpets with abandoned maps in the station. The latter also provides many other services, but it does not exempt you from regularly checking the filter of the L20 Ultra, which is still a very good 2-in-1 robot.
