He Lawyer Alfredo Ochoawho carried a trial against the Orlegi Group for the land used in the construction of the TSM Stadium, suffered an attack in the city of Torreon, Coahuila.
Through a video posted on his social networks, the lawyer explained that during the afternoon of Thursday, July 11, he went – under false pretenses – to a place where he would meet with some people who supposedly would speak with Alejandro Irarragorri, president of the Orlegi Group, regarding the matter of payment for the hectares used in the Stadium where the Santos Laguna club plays.

However, when he went to the site, he said that four armed people beat him and threatened him.
“I was attacked by four armed people who beat me. The person who tricked me into being alone with these people before that meeting told me that the people who would go were people who would speak with Irarragorri about the TSM issue,” he said.
After detailing what happened to him, he said he fears for his life and holds the president of Grupo Orlegi responsible; in addition to asking for protection from the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“I fear for my life. I hold Alejandro Irarragorri responsible for what may happen to me and I am addressing the President of the Republic,” he added.

Later, he posted on his social networks that before the attack, he also received a message in which they mentioned that Alejandro Irarragorri would not pay the debt to the ejidatario’s family.
“Today, after receiving a message in which they mentioned that Alejandro Irarragorri would not pay what they owe to the family of Mr. Juan Nava (RIP), I suffered an attack in which they threatened to kill me, telling me that this was the second and last time,” he said.

The second attack against the lawyer
According to sports journalist Ignacio Suarez, the “Ghost,” lawyer Alfredo Ochoa won the trial in the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation against the Orlegi Group, who allegedly dispossessed a blind person of his common land for the construction of the TSM Stadium.
Although the ruling apparently favored the ejidatario, who died in 2022, both the lawyer and the relatives of Mr. Juan Nava are awaiting the execution of the sentence.

The journalist also said that this would be the second attack on the lawyer, as he had previously been kidnapped and abducted by a group of authorities, who eventually apologized to him.
This would also be the second time that he has asked President López Obrador for protection.
So far, neither Grupo Orlegi nor Alejandro Irarragorri have commented on the lawyer’s allegations.
