jpnn.comJAKARTA – PBSI is reshuffling the pairs in the men’s doubles sector starting from the upcoming 2024 Japan Open tournament.

In the latest list of tournaments in the Land of the Rising Sun, PBSI paired Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin.

Men’s doubles coach, Aryono Miranat, said the reshuffle was done for refreshment.

In the last few years, both Bagas/Fikri and Leo/Daniel have been inconsistent in their achievements.

“It was indeed a decision to swap Leo/Daniel and Bagas/Fikri to Leo/Bagas, and Fikri/Daniel. This is part of the refreshment in the men’s doubles team,” said the coach nicknamed the Water Dragon.

The refreshment in the men’s doubles sector is expected to help Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto who have been the backbone.

After Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo left, the achievements of the Indonesian men’s doubles team have gone up and down.

This makes the public expect changes to be made to boost the Indonesian men’s doubles sector again.
