A page is turning for the movement Wikimedia in Cameroon. As reported by 237online.com, the Elective General Assembly of the Wikimedians of Cameroon User Group, held on July 13, 2024 in Yaoundé, gave birth to a new executive office. Alexandra Tchuileuthe outgoing president, gave an encouraging assessment of her 2022-2024 term. Among the major achievements, we note the effective decentralization of community management, the improvement of institutional visibility and the significant increase in the number of volunteer contributors. The new office, headed by Alexandra Tchuileu reappointed to the presidency, inherits a promising program called ” Wiki Cameroun Tour“With a budget of more than 18 million FCFA, this project aims to strengthen the traditional activities of the community while launching new innovative initiatives such as ” Sahré Lambo« .
