Thus, International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8 each year, is intended to be an opportunity to highlight the essential role of the INDH in promoting the conditions of women and improving their situations on the various economic, social, cultural and health levels.

According to data from the Social Action Division (DAS) of the province of Es-Semara, the Provincial Committee for Human Development (CPDH) has given particular interest to the axis relating to maternal and child health, which is part of the program Impulse of the human capital of the rising generations.

In this context, the CPDH of Es-Semara has allocated approximately four million dirhams (MDH) to support the health sector in the province between 2019 and 2023 to finance a series of projects aimed at compensating for the lack of certain health services, in particular the mother-child service at the provincial hospital.

Similarly, the mother-child service has been equipped with various technical devices and surgical tools according to the needs of the services of the provincial delegation of Health and Social Protection.

In the wake of the management of maternal and child health, the CPDH has acquired around twenty neonatal incubators, biochemistry analyzers and blood glucose devices, as well as surgical tools for difficult deliveries.

It also involves equipping a breastfeeding room and another dedicated to awareness-raising activities for pregnant and breastfeeding women and those of childbearing age at the Rbieb and El Gouiez dispensaries.

In addition, a series of cultural and social activities were organized at the initiative of the CPDH, on the occasion of the celebration of International Women’s Day, in addition to the organization of stands dedicated to the promotion of local products and the distribution of financial and material aid for the benefit of women in difficult situations.

In addition, a training workshop was organized for women with special needs who are entrepreneurs and have project ideas from families with special needs.
