With more than 18 concerts over nine days, the first edition of Amazingh Taghazout Bay Festival plans a vibrant musical program, indicates a press release from the organizers.
The first phase of the line-up will be marked by the participation of several renowned artists including Sarah & Ismail, Gims, Dadju, Fehd Benchemsi & The Lallas, Oum, Mehdi Qamoum, Gnawa Diffusion, Jubantouja, Africa Band-Moroccan Tribute to Pink Floyd, Julian Marley, Mehdi Nassouli and Lartiste.
The second phase of this Festival will be announced soon, notes the same source, adding that in addition to the concerts, “The village of Taghazout Bay” will become the place of life for visitors and residents of the region.
Located in Tawenza Square, 20m from the main stage, the Village will house a food court that will host food trucks (local and international cuisines), a creators’ space and a gaming zone. The village will thus become the summer destination where people can meet at the end of the day to share moments with family and friends.
And to emphasize that Taghazout Bay, rich in its dynamic Berber culture, its white sand beaches and the majestic Atlas Mountains as a backdrop, offers a unique setting for a music festival.
The name “Amazingh” comes from an inspired combination of “Amazigh” and “Amazing”. This fusion reflects a balance between the cultural heritage of the region and the extraordinary experience that the festival promises to offer, notes the press release which underlines that Amazingh Taghazout Bay Festival aims to become the must-see event of the summer, thus celebrating the cultural richness and creative energy of the region.
