Budapest/Brussels – In response to the resignation of the Hungarian EU Commission President, FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl has called on the ÖVP to vote against the re-election of EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. In a broadcast on Tuesday, Kickl called on Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) to condemn the announced divorce. Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg (ÖVP) is also against the divorce of Hungary.
