On the 14th, a fan meeting to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the My Jin fan club ‘Blue’ was held at the Gonzaga Convention Hall of Sogang University in Seoul.
Myjin’s fan meeting is an annual event held every year since the 2nd anniversary regular meeting and ‘Stop Time’ showcase held in Cheonan on July 13, 2019. This year, around 500 fans from all over the country gathered and had a great time at a ‘fan party by the fans, for the fans’.
Maijin’s fan club ‘Blue’ started with 50 members in 2017 and currently has 10,000 members. In August 2022, they showed their passion by posting a cheering advertisement on the electronic billboard at Cheongdam Station to commemorate the release of ‘Cheongdam-dong Blues’. Recently, they have been actively promoting Maijin by setting up an all-blue booth at the ‘Current King National Tour Concert’ that is taking place nationwide, which is a great help to Maijin’s activities.
Maijin, who was warmly welcomed by fans that day, said, “I was really surprised to see the convention hall filled with blue,” and added, “I tried not to cry, but I got emotional when I met the eyes of the fans who were giving me a warm round of applause. I hope that today’s event will be a good time and a happy memory.”
To celebrate the 7th anniversary of her fan club, Maijin performed “Empty Hands,” “Cheongdam-dong Blues,” and “Mongdang Pencil” with professional dancers. Maijin also heated up the atmosphere by singing “Samoae,” “Stop Time,” and more. At the request of fans, she sang “Casanova,” “Here,” and “Dongjeon Life,” which she performed during the “King of Singers” competition, as an unaccompanied medley.
In addition, Maijin presented a luxurious performance reminiscent of a concert, including responding to the request for an encore with ‘Ong-i’. The fans sang along and cheered for every song, showing their strong bond.
Maijin, who said goodbye to her fans with a warm hug, said, “I would like to thank my fans once again for taking care of me like family and giving me so much help since my debut,” and expressed her determination, saying, “I will work harder to become a singer who can always be with my fans.”
