40% of the TV audience chose to watch the grand final in Berlin on BNT 1 and BNT 3 on Sunday evening (base age 4+).
The sports editions of Nova Broadcasting Group, which, together with the Bulgarian National Television, managed to attract huge audience interest during the joint broadcast of the championship, also marked a triumph. Official peoplemetric results show that the final was watched by over 20% more viewers than UEFA EURO 2020 at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
The match between Spain and England last night was watched by over 1,254,000 viewers, while the total audience of the decisive battle of the previous edition of the championship was over 1,041,000 viewers (live broadcast on the 4 TV channels – NOVA, DIEMA SPORT 3, BNT 1 and BNT 3). This year also saw a serious growth in the registered audience share.
